The Handsome Mr. Gregorio

One of this week's custom pet portraits has been amazingly fun. Sadly, Gregorio has passed but in this memorial painting I've been given free reign to explore the vibrant colors of his personality. One of his unique features was his slightly damaged tail which naturally created a "G" shape.

It took me a while to work out the visual beats but I love this combination of textures so far. I'm looking forward to tightening up the composition and highlighting his intense green eyes. I designed the painting so his signature "G" tail figures prominently. He will be a great addition to my cat art portfolio!
